Mt Difficulty Pipeclay Terrace Pinot Noir 2005

“..an altogether more stylish wine, albeit with less immediate impact than some of its regional counterparts.  The fruit character is more of red plum and there’s an additional leafy fragrance.  Otton thought it “attractive and complex, with rose petals and undergrowth.  Good balance, with depth of fresh fruit and mouth-coating tannins.”  The wine’s ready and will gain further complexity in bottle.  – Cellar Treasures, Gourmet Traveller Wine,  Aug/Sept 2007
