Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir 2003
“We are delighted to receive this award for our 2003 Pinot Noir; this sort of international recognition not only introduces Pinot fans to the Mt Difficulty brand, it also continues to reinforce the high quality of New Zealand wine in a competitive global market,” says Michael Herrick, Sales and Marketing Manager, Mt Difficulty.
“Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir has won a Gold Medal every year since its inaugural vintage in 1998,” says Michael.
The Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir 2004 vintage is due to be released on 1 October 2005 and by all accounts will be another award-winning drop.
The International Wine Challenge is unique in size, with more than 9,000 wines from across the globe and ranging from basic table wines to the finest wines from both classic regions and the New World. The panel of judges includes over 50 Masters of Wine as well as international producers. All wines are tasted in both rounds of the competition alongside others from the same region and style.
