Mt Difficulty Mansons Farm Pinot Gris 2006
Wellington's Regional Wines is a respected independent wine outlet which holds regular tastings for its customers. In February 2007 Raymond Chan led a tasting of 18 New Zealand Pinot Gris. He wrote: "Straw yellow with green hues. Rich dense nose with intense and solid ripe tropical fruits along with earthy, savoury complexities. Sweaty, sauvignon-like nectarine elements. Slightly sweet to medium, this is rich, honeyed and broad with spices and savoury stonefruit flavours. Excellent concentration and richness, yet with impeccable balance. Lovely textures and attractive all-round drinking...My score 19.0-/20." View Mt Difficulty Mansons Farm Pinot Gris 2006
