Roaring Meg Pinot Noir 2007 won a Gold Award in the recent International Wine & Spirit Competition 2008 in London. The judges’ tasting notes read: “Warm, open, very friendly pinot style, lovely weight of raspberry and cherry tinged fruit, good background oak and solid mid palate. There are savoury hints, touches of minerality, but this is all about a ‘touch me now; bring it on’ wine. Crafted beautifully with elegance. A very deserving Gold.”
