Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir 2000
This wine exhibits good concentration of Central Otago Pinot Noir characters with Black Cherry, Blackberry fruits with allspice and dried herbs complexing nicely with coffee chocolate aromas from considerate barrel usage. The palate develops from good fruit concentration through to a fleshy mid palate with lovely elegant tannins showcasing a strong finish. Good drinking now but excellent cellaring potential for 2 - 8 years.
