Visit by Brisbane's STTG

The Second Tuesday Tasting Group (or STTG for short) was started by James Keneally in February 2002 and has evolved into ten blokes with a passion for wine. They meet 10-11 times per year with themes arranged beforehand. Latterly their schedule has included tours to regions of interest. Previous tours have included Marlborough/ North Canterbury, McLaren Vale/ Clare Valley and Grampians/ Great Western/ Pyrennes.

While on tour the group been fortunate to have winemakers show their barrel samples and lead discussions about style influences and winemaking techniques. They select only a few wineries to visit rather than "just another bus tour", and wineries that are of interest to the group. The focus of discussion is to learn more about few rather than a little about a lot.
