We’re looking for passionate front of house and kitchen professionals to help us create memorable food and wine experiences set against the spectacular backdrop of the Cromwell Basin.

Waitstaff - Full Time & Casual

Mt Difficulty Restaurant, Bannockburn, Cromwell
No evenings / Varying and flexible hours Wednesday to Sunday

We are looking for full-time and casual waitstaff to provide exceptional and personable service to a wide range of customers, with varying daytime hours, including weekend work. You will be working with a passionate and energetic team in one of the most beautiful locations in the country.

About You
To thrive in this role you will have personality and the ability to quickly build rapport with many different types of visitors. Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, and training is provided. In addition, you will:

• Have excellent customer service skills, high energy, and eye for detail under pressure.
• Speak fluent English.
• Be a great team player with the flexibility to adapt to multiple and changing tasks.
• Have an appetite to learn and stay up to date on brands and wines.
• A comprehensive knowledge of wine is not essential; an enthusiasm for wine and gin and the willingness to learn is.

Applicants will need to be able to work in New Zealand and have a current driver’s license with their own means of transportation.
